Lessons & Clinics
Lessons at our home location are offered year-round - weather permitting during the winter. We have access to wonderful amenities including an outdoor, indoor, and plenty of hills and trails. Virtual lessons are available year-round. Clinics are generally booked from May through October, with locations including Lander, Sheridan, Gillette, Heber, Fort Collins, and Billings. Clinic dates tend to fill up quickly, please contact us well in advance. Lessons and clinics consist of groundwork, in-hand work, biomechanichal analysis, and/or ridden work, with each session being sculpted to fit the needs of you and your horse that day.
Equine Bodywork
Bodywork sessions consist of a full body sports massage with range-of-motion stretches and activations. The initial session consists of a full assessment of the horse and their needs, followed by a 1.5 to 2 hour massage. Every session includes a written session report, as well as recommended exercises for owners to assist their horses between sessions. Limited availability.
On-Site Training
Centaur Sporthorses has worked with horses of all ages, breeds, and disciplines, building confidence and understanding through our program. Our training methods are rooted in kindness and compassion, equine biomechanics, and classical methodology for the horse. Every horse in training is allowed the opportunity to experience the joys of connection and growth as they are approached as an individual. Each training program that is tailored to the horses's specific needs. Owners are updated regularly with detailed training reports. CHS currently has a waitlist for training.
